When it comes to putting on a night of classic covers, few bands can do it with as much raucous, infectious energy and unbridled fun as Doreen Doreen, who will be playing at The Fleece in Bristol on Saturday 2nd September 2017.

Doreen Doreen

No strangers to the Bristol gigging circuit, their high energy and fun-spirited set has ensured their place in the top rank canon as one of the most eagerly awaiting returning bands in the city.

They've garnered an enthusiastic and loyal fanbase who no doubt will expect the usual rambunctious combo of reverent, quirky and often downright anarchic covers. Getting Bristol's music-loving multitudes revved up for a night of non-stop hits is what this madcap band does best, so expect a roster of top tunes and nostalgic cheesy classics that will include the likes of songs by Abba, Ian Dury, Queen, Tom Jones and Britney Spears.

It's fair to say this boisterous octet have slipped somewhat effortlessly into the category of 'cult' in recent times, and those in the know who have attended their gigs are unequivocally well-equipped and prepared for the boisterous musical mash-up that will follow. For those who have never experienced this covers-warbling conglomerate before, you're in for a night you won't forget in a hurry.
