Visit Watershed's Bug-Themed Book Den on Bristol Harbourside

Posted on: 24 Aug 2017

Why be bugged out by the stressful pace of modern life when you can chill out at a snail's crawl with the Watershed's Bug-Themed Book Den, which encourages everyone to stop chomping at the leaf and runs until Monday 4th September 2017.

What better way for the family to avoid the swarm of the world's hectic hustle and bustle than to buzz its way over to the venue's fabulous Cafe/Bar and plonk yourself down on the comfy seats, flicking through all manner of books about bugs in fact and fiction, with plenty of opportunities to colour in and take part in some bug-tastic workshops.

Watershed has also joined forces with the Arnolfini bookshop to offer some amazing tomes about insects, bees and a whole other incredible menagerie of creepy-crawlies. And if you think that particular deal isn't buzzing enough, ticket holders to screenings of movies throughout the Bugs on Film season can also take advantage of a 15% discount off any of its children's titles.

With all activities at the Bug-Themed Book Den free between 10am and 5pm and bugs and mini-beasts of all ages welcome, it's the only place for which you should make a bee-line.
