Smoke and Mirrors Bristol: What's on this week

Smoke and Mirrors is right in the city centre, perfectly located for pre-theatre drinks, as well as being the main event for your night out. They even offer a 10% discout on pre-theatre drinks if you show your ticket to a gig at the Hippodrome, Colston Hall or O2! Smoke and Mirrors is open six days a week, and serves food from 16.00 - 00.00. You can visit from 16:00 - 12:00am on Sunday to Tuesday and from 15.00 - 12.00am on Wednesday to Saturday. There are special events several times every week, so keep checking back to find out what's new. Here's what's going on this week at Smoke & Mirrors, plus a few dates to get planning your autumn nights out.
On Wednesday 23rd August we have another fantastic FREE Event with the Bristol Skeptics joining us for their Skeptics in the Pub Event. This Wednesday’s subject is on how data is now influencing many aspects of daily life, from tailoring your internet experience to the managing of traffic flows on smart motorways. They have guest speaker Bobby Stuilfznad joining them for a talk and then a Q&A. You can find more details here.
On Friday 25th August we have Close-up Magic at your table with Marco Long, and live music from Billy Driscoll performing acoustic covers. Described as "outlandish and upbeat" you won't want to miss Billy's husky, raw covers of popular songs.
On Saturday 26th August we have House Magicians Mark Bennett & Richard Newman performing their amazing Comedy & Magic Show. This two hour event is sandwiched between Live Magic in the Bar area and followed by live Music with one of our talent House Musicians. Book tickets here.
