Furnace and the Fundamentals in Bristol this Autumn

Once described as ‘simply the best party band ever’ by compatriot Hot Dub Time Machine, Australian six-piece band will play some of the best songs of all time with all the character of the original, but twice the energy.

From The Beatles to Beyonce, Michael Jackson to Mark Ronson, Queen to Daft Punk and everything in between. Known as bona-fide party starters with their lively on stage antics, the group brings together an eclectic style of indie, rock and pop with the sole purpose of getting people off their seats and on to the dance floor.

Drawing on the talented musicianship and stunning stage presence of Elliott ‘Furnace’ Crane (lead vocals), Digby Robinson (lead guitar), Lachlan ‘Pluto’ Nicolson (keys) , Marcus Anderson (bass), Tom Mackenzie (guitar) and Mike Solo (drums), who by day work across a myriad of industries, the band look to distinguish themselves as the ‘best party band of all time’ by night.

Labelling themselves as ‘musical chameleons with a sense of humour’ the band are a tight-knit unit, full of energy, aiming to provide engaging live performances. Having amassed a fan base of thousands across Australia, Furnace have played at some of the country’s most iconic venues including Falls Festival, the Perth and Adelaide Fringe, New Year’s Eve on Sydney Harbour, as well as the city’s historic Enmore Theatre.

However, their soaring fame has also stemmed from impromptu office romance serenades,  their self-produced music mash up spectacular ‘Furnapalooza’ and best of all, an original 80’s style Fitness video, aptly named ‘Fitness with Furnace’.

You can find more about the band and the event on their website or on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
