What's Happening at Smoke and Mirrors this week?

Smoke and Mirrors is Bristol's premier boutique pub and magic theatre, hosting an array of outstanding shows. People have been flocking to both Smoke and Mirrors, and its sister bar Illusions, for quite some time now, and with the shows, they are running this week, it really is no surprise! Check out exactly what is going on below, and we are pretty sure you'll be booking your tickets in no time!

Check out some of the hilarious previews for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this week

To start the week, they have three fantastic nights of Edinburgh Fringe Festival previews involving 6 awesome comedians. They should be really close to having their shows ready for next month's festival, which is really great for anyone watching! We also have a bonus Stand Up Comedy Night on Sunday evening too this week so lots of laughter in store for us.Check out just some of this week's line-up below.
 

Monday Night - Lloyd Griffith & Rhys James
Tuesday Night - Adam Hess & Jack Barry
Wednesday Night - Jake Lambert & George Rigden
Sunday Night - Steve Bugeja & Adam Hess 
 

As well as stand up, they have live magic throughout the weekend. On Thursday night we have close-up magician Criss Smith doing FREE close up magic in the bar all evening.This complements their 241 Cocktails which are available all night Thursday, so if you are in the area then please pop in, there is no need to book for this, and it is a unique way to spend your weekend. 

 

On Friday night at 7.30pm, magician Mark Bennett will be performing his hour-long one man show. After the show, they have live music in the bar, plus more close up magic with one of their house magicians.

This Saturday (15th) we have a double show. Starting with our Family Comedy and Magic Show at 4.30 pm. This Show features the same style and a lot of the same amazing tricks as the evening's shows, just with a more child-friendly script and some more descriptive routines. The Evenings House Magician Comedy & Magic Stage Show features House Magicians  Mark Bennett & Richard Newman.

 

We know that whatever night you intend on going too, you will be laughing and amazed all night!
