Celebrate World Whisky Day at The Crown in Bristol

Posted on: 17 May 2017

Make a royal appointment with all of Bristol’s other whisky fans at The Crown this Saturday, when World Whisky Day will be dominating proceedings.

World Whisky Day

With the weather as naff as it has been in Bristol this week, you would be forgiven for thinking that the weekend somehow doesn’t feel like such an attractive proposal without the prospect of alfresco activity.

But fear not, dear reader! For World Whisky Day is back for another year, and will be keeping the fun firmly indoors. Celebrate the occasion at The Crown, the St Nicks boozer of kingly quality, where the brown stuff will be flowing no end.

Aim straight with a dram from one of their extensive range of scotch, bourbons and blends, which stack up high on the back bar. Alternatively, try one of their whisky cocktails: Bite The Bulleit, Apple Mac or Meet Your Maker, all for £4.95.

The Crown

With food served until 9pm and a stellar selection of drinks (even non-whiskies!), The Crown has something to please even the most stubborn scotch nay-sayer. Occupying the same site since 1741, The Crown is a real ale pub and cider house with an edge. This superb venue blends the traditional with the alternative to create one of Bristol’s must-visit locations.
