Has your weekly timetable begun to look slightly drab? Are the evenings beginning to blend into one? Inject some of the magic of the stage back into your life by joining the Bristol Show Choir, the city’s number one musical theatre singing collective!

Following an immensely successful debut term, which culminated in a performance at the Bristol Hippodrome, the choir is back for the summer, with more of the West End and Broadway songs that have become their trademark. All of these songs are performed acapella and led by professional conductors Douglas V. Watts and Jessica Samuel.

They rehearse every Tuesday 7-9pm at Factory 8, Upton Road, Southville, Bristol BS3 1QZ and begin their summer term on 25th April. They welcome singers of all backgrounds and there are no auditions, although a basic understanding of music always proves to be really helpful.

Three undergraduate years at UoB were more than ample time for Bristol (as it inevitably does) to get under his skin, and so here he remains: reporting, as Assistant Editor, on the cultural happenings which so infatuated him with the city.
