Gardeners and green-fingered types in the city will be able to take advantage of the Bristol Seed Swap which takes place at The Station on Saturday 28 January 2017 from 12 noon to 5pm.

Besides being a great chance to share and take away different varieties of seeds, it also gives you the opportunity to learn about green issues, seed saving and other local and growing projects.

There will be plenty of friendly, knowledgeable gardeners on hand to share their experiences and pass on their horticultural words of wisdom, and it's a brilliant way to mix and network with like-minded people.

This year's Bristol Seed Swap is taking place a bit earlier than usual, giving you the chance to bring, exchange and start growing chillis and tomatoes slightly earlier in the season.

Open to everyone with an interest in and enthusiasm for gardening - from keen novices to local Alan Titchmarsh's - it's a few hours where friends and family can unite and enjoy a genuinely sociable, relaxed time in a generous community-spirited event.

For more info, head to the event's official Facebook page. The Station is located at Silver Street, Bristol, BS1 2AG.
