The full lineup of all the excellent stars performing this year's Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, alongside Torvill & Dean has been released. Playing at the Bristol Hippodrome from 10th December - 8th January, tickets are available now!

Cinderella - Bristol Christmas Pantomime 2016

This production is going to be even bigger and more spectacular than ever as national icons Torvill & Dean take to the stage as the Fairy Godparents. Britain’s beloved sporting heroes bring their unique talents to The Bristol Hippodrome for the first time ever and will be wowing audiences with their amazing routines.

 

Now confirmed alongside the sporting icons are:

 

Jarred Christmas – Buttons

Jarred is a comedian and actor whose fifteen years on the comedy circuit have catapulted him onto the small-screen in shows such as Mock the Week, Never mind the Buzzcocks, 8 out of 10 Cats, Russell Howard’s Good News and Let’s Dance for Comic Relief.

Rhiannon Chesterman – Cinderella 

Rhiannon was part of the original cast of Mrs Henderson Presents in the World Premiere at the Theatre Royal Bath understudying the role of Maureen. She later reprised this role for the West End transfer at the Noel Coward Theatre. Other theatre credits include Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty & Hairspray.

 

Blair Gibson – The Prince 

Blair graduated earlier this year from The MGA Academy of Performing Arts and this will be his second appearance as The Prince in Cinderella (Qdos Entertainment).

 

Samuel Holmes – Dandini 

Samuel hails from Plymouth and has appeared in pantomimes Peter Pan, Cinderella & Aladdin. Musical theatre includes Mrs Henderson Presents,  Spamalot, Kiss Me Kate, White Christmas, Crazy For You, My Fair Lady, The Merry Widow & The Pirates of Penzance.

 

Anthony Houghton - Baron Hardup

Anthony’s most recent screen credits include a lead role in the British Feature Film Arcadia and the short film Class 15. Anthony’s theatre credits span over twenty five years and include lead roles in countless No1 National Tours and Rep Theatres all around the country. 

 

Tim Hudson – Ugly Sister  

After training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Tim joined the Royal Shakespeare Company, appearing in Hamlet with Kenneth Branagh, King Lear with Robert Stephens, and Ion with Jude Law. He then starred as Toad in Alan Bennett's adaptation of The Wind in the Willows at the Old Vic and on a national tour. 

 

Charles Brunton - Ugly Sister 

Born in Southampton, Charles recently covered the role of Miss Trunchbull in both the West End and Broadway productions of Matilda for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Charles was nominated for a Broadway World Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Miss Trunchbull.

Torvill & Dean - Cinderella Pantomime at Bristol Hippodrome

Jayne Torvill commented: "This will be our first visit to The Bristol Hippodrome and we are very much looking forward to performing in the city. We’re already working on some brand new choreography which we hope will bring a whole lot more excitement to the wonderful Cinderella story and reworking some old favourites too."

 

Christopher Dean added: "We’re really looking forward to bringing Cinderella to life on skates and spending the festive season in Bristol.We can’t wait for Christmas now!"

 

The classic rags to riches tale Cinderella will be transformed into a breath-taking family extravaganza with glittering sets, gorgeous costumes, big song and dance numbers, real Shetland ponies and jaw-dropping skating sequences. This is a not to be missed chance to see one of the most spectacular shows happening in the UK.

 

Tickets are on sale from £12 and going fast. Being describe as ‘A thrill from start to finish' by Manchester evening news and 'Polished production with Torvill and Dean earning full marks’ by The Stage on Cinderella, Manchester, this is set to continue the tradition of great pantomimes held at the Hippodrome.
