The Darkness in Bristol

To follow the release of their fifth album later this year, The Darkness is proud to return once again to the stages of our sceptered isle! Showcasing their trademark mix of relentless rifferama, effortless haute couture, ridiculously loud noises and bright things that flash on and off, this will be a glorious night for every die hard rock and roll fan.

As any fool will tell you, a Darkness show is a place where believers come together, where fluids are shared, and dreams are built. But most importantly, where rock and roll is crowned king EVERY NIGHT!

The Darkness are a British rock band. Led by charismatic frontman Justin Hawkins (lead vocals, guitar), the band formed in 2000 and comprises Dan Hawkins (guitar, backing vocals), Frankie Poullain (bass, backing vocals) and Rufus Tiger Taylor (drums). Their debut album ‘Permission To Land’ was released in 2003 and  topped the UK album charts. They followed their debut with ‘One Way Ticket to Hell… and Back’ (2005), before the band entered a hiatus in 2005. Reforming in 2011, they have since released ‘Hot Cakes’ (2012) and ‘Last of Our Kind’ (2015). They have won numerous awards, including three BRIT awards in 2004.
