Having been chosen to represent the UK for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, SuRie is celebrating the great honour that comes with the selection.
For this concert tour throughout the UK, SuRie and her musicians will perform a set of past and current Eurovision winners and hits, in the singer-songwriter style she feels so at home with.
SuRie is thrilled to be visiting The Redgrave Theatre, and looks forward to presenting the audience with an acoustic set of timeless songs, ranging from ABBA, over Johnny Logan, to Katrina and the Waves.
As well as the mellow piano/vocal settings of her own songs, SuRie’s performance and recordings of a range of covers have also been appreciated by audiences and critics alike.

- - - SuRie releases acoustic take on UK's Eurovision "Storm" - - -
In the build-up to Eurovision 2018, UK entrant SuRie has released an acoustic version of her song "Storm". Having already catered to the millions of Eurovision fans around Europe with the release of both the original version and the dance re-mix of the track on all digital platforms, "Storm" has now also received the singer/songwriter treatment by SuRie.
For this intimate version, SuRie accompanies herself on the piano, supported by a small string section. Fans will certainly appreciate her introverted interpretation of the song, freeing her distinctive soulful voice from the tight up-tempo beats of the previous releases, and letting it soar in all its glory.
SuRie says:" The Eurovision Song Contest experience has gone far beyond any kind of expectation I might have had when Storm was first pitched to me. To perform the song, to hear it sung back at me by the thousands of fans in the UK, Israel, The Netherlands and Spain, to see how it puts smiles on faces and to feel how people connect to it; it has made me realise there's more to this track than meets the eye. Stripping it back to its most intimate, most poignant message has turned the whole adventure full circle for me. I hope fans will embrace this version, and there is no denying that it takes things back to where I come from, musically. A good song still stands when stripped back to its bare bone writing, and it has been so exciting and fun to hear Storm thrive in this new version.”
The release of this version of "Storm" ties in with the acoustic tour SuRie will embark on when she comes back from Eurovision in Lisbon. The concerts will see SuRie perform acoustic versions of Eurovision hits and winners from the past, under the title "Eurovision Unplugged". Venues and dates can be found on SuRie.me
