Skankfest is back for another huge party at The Fleece!

Skankfest is back in Bristol this year, bringing another 12-hour marathon of Ska-punk mayhem to The Fleece on Sunday 8th April. With sets from Sonic Boom Six, Bar Stool Preachers and eleven more bands throughout the day, you certainly don't want to miss out on this one. Tickets for Skankfest 2018 are on sale now and can be found here.

This year's Skankfest is set to be headlined by none other than the eclectic Mancunian fiver-piece Sonic Boom Six. The band's ability to fuse a huge range of genres has won fans up and down the country, described by Kerrang! as "taking ska, pop, grime, dubstep, punk and metal apart, then rebuilding them as a hyperactive hybrid". SB6's headline set will kick off at 10.15pm, but there's plenty more to see before that.

Starting at 12pm (and with the very appealing prospect of 2-for-1 drinks for the whole first hour), Skankfest gets underway with Bristol-based fusion band Clumsy, followed by The Larry Fish Experiment - another Bristolian band renowned for their Ska-punk sound.

As the afternoon progresses, attendees can expect some of the best Ska, punk, Reggae and Folk music from all corners of the UK, as Millie Manders and the Shut Up (London), Karl Phillips and the Rejects (Midlands), Jake and the Jellyfish (Leeds) and the Bar Stool Preachers (Brighton).
