Paul Foot who was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, began his career as an stand-up comedian while he was at university and since then he has become popular because of his own anti-comedy style, as you see something different every time you encounter his act.

He received the BBC New Comedy Award in 1997, and various other nominations in other awards. At Sydney Comedy Festival he has received the Best International Act award this shows his remarking success in Australia as he also won Best of Festival. He also won Perth International Comedy Festival.
