Jamie Isaac performs at The Crofters Rights on the 21st November 2018

On Wednesday 21 November 2018 Jamie Isaac is performing at Crofters Right in Bristol.

London producer and songwriter Jamie Isaac has been named “an unlikely heir to Sade” (The Guardian). His music melds “luscious, mood-lit R&B” (Q), electronics, soul, jazz, ambient choral melodies and hip hop to “spellbinding” effect (Dummy). Over at Crofter’s Rights, Jamie will be performing groove-laden tracks from his latest, acclaimed album and his cult-classic debut, Couch Baby – “the greatest album of its kind we’ve heard this year” (Noisey).

With earworm crooning, and an emotive depth and dynamic palette, his music sounds as natural next to the trippy jazz of Thundercat as it does the spacious atmospherics of The xx, or the luscious neo-soul of Frank Ocean. It is heavily influenced by what he calls, “the west coast, golden era of jazz,” and, “Marvin Gaye, always.”
