Grease is still the word...

The much-loved musical is to be performed in two showings at The Redgrave Theatre on Saturday 19th August.

Grease Live

Calling all T-Birds, Pink Ladies and beauty school dropouts: take a trip back to the Rydell High of the 1950s, when OOOH ARRR Productions bring their performance of Grease to The Redgrave Theatre on Saturday 19th August.

When, through a fortuitous twist of fate, a beach-side summer romance extends into the new school term, Danny and Sandy must fight to protect it against the tests, movements and machinations that a final year at Rydell High represents – all the while spontaneously bursting into song.

This classic story and timeless score was immortalised when John Travolta, Olivia Netwon-John and co. took it to the silver screen in 1978, with its continual performance on stages all over the world suggesting that the phenomenon shows no sign of slowing down.

OOOH ARRR Productions are the latest company to bring the musical to Bristol, where they will emulate the 1950s stomping ground with a pair of performances at The Redgrave Theatre on Saturday 19th August. Established in Bristol last year, the company aims to make theatre ‘fun, affordable and relevant’ with their stage shows in the South West.

Tickets are £10 or £7 for concessions and are available below. For more from OOOH ARRR Productions, head to their website.
