Everything Everything

Manchester based indie art rock band Everything Everything formed in late 2007 around the talents of drummer Mike Spearman, vocalist, guitarist, and laptop cowboy Jonathan Higgs, bass player Jeremy Pritchard, and guitarist Alex Robertshaw. Famed for ripping apart musical formula and creating songs that draw upon influences as diverse as Michael Jackson to Steve Reich via Ezra Pound, they have furrowed a truly innovative musical career with a impressive back catalogue that simultaneously manages to be widely infectious and bafflingly unpredictable.

In 2008 the band split critical opinion with Higg’s now characteristic falsetto vocal delivery on their first single ‘Suffragette Suffragette’ with some praising the band’s ingenuity and others left on the fence about their sound. But after a year of touring their breakthrough single ‘MY, KZ, UR, BF’ and following debut album ‘Man Alive’ won the band a place on the prominent BBC Sound of 2010 Award list and a Mercury Award nomination sealing their forthcoming success.

Their second release ‘Arc’ in 2013 was praised by music critics and fans alike and saw them rise to the Top Five in the UK album charts and embark on a European tour. In 2015 they released ‘Get to Heaven’ and were one of the hotly anticipated bands to appear on the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival line-up held in Bristol at Colston Hall and Motion in 2016.

Everything Everything released their fourth album ‘A Fever Dream’ in August 2017.
