Afro Celt Sound System at Colston Hall in Bristol on 19 November 2017

Afro Celt Sound System will perform at Colston Hall in Bristol on Sunday 19 November 2017.

Two decades into their cross-cultural collaboration, Afro Celt Sound System are still a force to be reckoned with. With sales now topping one and a half million albums and two Grammy nominations to date, their latest album ‘The Source’  (2016 on ECC Records) was described by fRoots as a “colossus of an album”.

Their live show, featuring a host of outstanding musicians, is as energetic and captivating as the album. Expect an uncontainable cacophony of global rhythms and roof-shaking beats with Johnny Kalsi, the UK’s most celebrated player of the Punjabi dhol drum, at the pulsing centre of the show.

“Bigger, better and bolder than ever before” – Songlines 2016
