A cosy bar, distillery and events space located on Bristol's Park Street.

Opened in October 2019, the Bristol and Bath Rum Distillery is a popular bar, operational distillery and events venue on Park Street.

The space is home to two large production stills: one 500-litre, double retort rum still, traditionally used by many Caribbean rum distillers, and a 200-litre gin still.

The bar is believed to be one of few locations nationwide to stock more than 150 varities of rum sourced from over 50 rum-producing countries.

The welcoming venue team host regular Rum School tasting and making sessions, taking visitors on a journey from rum's miraculous conception on Caribbean sugarcane plantations to its fascinating modern-day methods of production.

You'll be entertained with the spirit's rags to riches story - covering the darker as well as the lighter-hearted chapters - while you enjoy a range of classic rums and rum-based cocktails.

The Distillery's Rum Making experience also gives attendees the opportunity to spice and re-distil their own 70cl bottle of rum before naming the new variety, personalising the label and waxing the top.

Rum School sessions take place at the Distillery every Friday and Saturday, starting at £50 per person. Bookings can also be made for private functions, making for a refreshingly unique experience for work parties.
