A C18th jail-turned sought-after Bristol music venue: you can find Fiddlers in BS3

It’s one of Bristol’s best-loved nightspots: Fiddlers, a quirky gig space and bar in BS3, started life in 1994.

What was once a C18th prison, the 450-capacity venue now plays host sought-after artists from around the globe, both underground and mainstream.

Robert Plant, Dinosaur Jr. and George Ezra; these are just a few of the hundreds of artists who have walked through Fiddlers’ doors in the past 25 years.

Earthy, underground and low-lit; the converted stone building attracts Bristol’s primed gig-goers – and with good reason.

A consistent choice for touring artists, bands and performers, the family-run venue proves the South of the river is an enviable cultural hub for Bristol’s music scene.

But not only that, it’s a hotspot for late-night events, too. Often listed by the likes of Resident Advisor, Fiddlers welcomes DJs to play late, late into the night.
