Brunel's masterpiece

Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s world famous Clifton Suspension Bridge is the symbol of Bristol, crossing the Avon Gorge 75 metres above the high tide mark connecting Clifton to Leigh Woods and the roads into Failand, Pill and on towards Portishead.  

 

The visitor cente is open daily and there are also free tours of the bridge every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday.

The bridge is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and FREE for pedestrians and cyclists to cross. Motor vehicles and motorcycles pay £1 and crossing cards are available for regular users.
