Wake The Tiger burn bright with Summer Solstice party

Wake The Tiger, Bristol’s psychadelic “Amazement Park”, are hosting a special late-night Summer Solstice celebration this June.

The days are getting longer, the sun is getting brighter, and the weather warmer: Summer is on the way, and that means the Summer Solstice is too!

The longest day of the year appeals to everybody – from those who assign it spiritual and religious significance, to those just looking for a long, sunny day to enjoy! At Wake The Tiger, Bristol’s famous ‘Amazement Park’, they’re no different – they’re hosting a special adults-only Summer Solstice event: Sundust.

Wake The Tiger is a self-described “Amazement Park” that first opened in 2022. From the creators of immersive festival Boomtown, WTT invites visitors to explore and interact with the psychadelic otherworld of Meridia – and discover a story about climate change & fantasy environmentalism along the way.

Wake The Tiger have already had great success with their previous seasonal celebrations: Danse Macabre for Halloween, and Soluna for the Spring Equinox, both of which were sell-out successes complete with immersive décor, bombastic costumes, and tasty tunes – this is bound to be no different.

For Sundust, the WTT team are inviting visitors back to Meridia to join together to “emerge, energise & shine” in the name of the sun. There is, of course, a costume theme, with attendees invited to outshine the sun itself with a recycled, repurposed or reused costume that follows the out-of-this-world Sundust theme!

Those with a ticket can look forward to live music, DJs & theatre/circus performers, alongside top-notch food, sparkling cocktails & other drinks. As if a night out in Meridia wasn’t enough, tickets also come with full access to the experience itself, letting the sun-powered fun loose on all of Meridia’s nooks and crannies.

The party takes place on Friday 30th June, and lasts from 7:30 – 1:00. Earlybird tickets are already on sale for £29.50 (plus booking fee), and you can get yours here.
