Wild Rivers are an indie pop trio from Toronto have been taking the world by storm since the release of their self-title debut album in 2016 – just two years later they supported the award-nominated Paper Kites on their North American tour, going on to later support country-western stars The Chicks in 2023.

Wild Rivers’ folk-tinged indie pop has resonated with hearts across the globe from the North-West to the South-East hemispheres; their 2019 single “Thinking ‘Bout Love” has now certified Gold in Australia and Platinum in Canada – they also won a Juno award in Canada for Breakthrough Group of the Year.

Not content with such heights of success, Wild Rivers are forging forward like a surging stream with a new tour. Fresh off a tour supporting Grammy-nominated (and personal fan of Wild Rivers) artist Noah Khalan, and following the release of their new single “Everywhere I go”, Wild Rivers have announced a European tour including the UK & Ireland.

Speaking on the personal significance of the track, songwriter Khalid Yassein said: “I was thinking about my grandpa when I wrote this song. He passed away a few years ago, and he was a really important figure in my life...When someone truly matters to you, you have no choice but to carry a part of them with you in your day to day life.”

The trio’s new tour is visiting Bristol this November, Sunday 17 – they’ll be coming to the newly-refurbished SWX for a show that will no doubt sell out given their following. It’s best to get your tickets now before that happens, so head here to get your tickets.
