One of Bristol’s favourite cafes is opening a second location

Christmas Steps is preparing to be graced by the presence of a second location of popular, artsy cafe Dareshack.

Dareshack, just across from Castle Park on Wine St, is just one of many cafes and coffee shops that populate Bristol’s streets – but ‘just’ is perhaps unfair. Describing itself as a ‘creative studio powered by coffee’, Dareshack is a cafe that consistently sets itself apart from the crowd: from the sleek black minimalism and bright, airy windows to the perfectly picked artisan coffee.

Dareshack is also something of a haven for artists and creatives – in large part, the proceeds from the cafe go toward supporting creative and artistic projects by the Dareshack team and their wider network, with a handy indicator at the till showing what you’re contributing to, and how close it is to its goal.

Finally, they also host an event space next door to the cafe – with everything from art exhibitions, to poetry recitals, music gigs, and even (recently) TedX Talks.

Now, Dareshack are spreading the love around the city centre – with a brand new location in Christmas Steps. Promising the same commitment to creative energy and inspiration, and top-quality speciality coffee, the new Dareshack appears to be good news for coffee lovers, artists and audiences alike.

"We are thrilled to expand our presence in Bristol and become part of the vibrant indie community on Christmas Steps.”, said Gui Petrini, co-founder of Dareshack. “Every cup of coffee made here will be crucial to our mission of funding creativity with caffeine."

While there hasn’t been any word on when the new locale will open, it’s no doubt soon if the team behind the cafes are announcing this news. To be the first to hear about any news from Dareshack, follow them on social media, or head to their soon-to-be-completed website.
