Join in with The Great Gonk Hunt this Christmas at Almondsbury Garden Centre!

Posted on: 17 Dec 2018

Christmas is just around the corner which can mean only one thing: those pesky Gonks are back on English soil, instructed by Santa to keep a sneaky eye on the kids' behaviour in the leadup to the holidays! Almondsbury Garden Centre are hosting the Great Gonk Hunt throughout December, so get the family down for an exciting day of activities that you won't forget in a hurry!

With Almondsbury Garden Centre open every day from now until Sunday 23rd December (from 9am Mon-Sat & 10.30am Sun) there's never been a better time to bring the kids down to see what they can find.

Having made the journey to England all the way from the North Pole for the Christmas season, the Gonks are on the lookout for any behaviour that might be worthy of a spot on Santa's naughty list. Taking refuge in woodland areas and known to cause some mischief when they don't get their way, Gonks certainly are among the most elusive of Christmas creatures.

It's up to you and your family to track them down this festive season, though, so you'll have to make your way around the Garden Centre grounds and keep a beady eye out for twenty of the cheeky critters! FREE goody bags will also be available to all children who take part in the hunt.

As well as the Gonk Hunt the family will be able to visit the fantastic Santa's Grotto at Almondsbury Garden Centre, open from now until Sunday 23rd December - read our full review of the Grotto experience here for more info.

The Almondsbury Garden Centre's Gonk Hunt is an absolutely FREE event this year and requires no bookings - all you have to do is make your way down and the fun will find you!
