Get the whole family active at Family Festival of Running this spring
Posted on: 28 Jan 2022The annual event returns after an enforced two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
Wishy and Active Soul UK are reviving Family Festival of Running in spring 2022, once again hosting a series of races designed to get the whole family active.
Alike 2019's event, organisers have put together a programme of races suitable for runners of all abilities whilst creating a festival atmosphere - this year beginning at 08:30 and ending at 15:00 on Saturday 9 April.
Visit Active Soul's Family Festival of Running webpage for more information and to secure your spot on the start line.
We are going to be one of the charities that you can run for this year at the family festival of running.

All participants can use the event to get sponsorships and raise money for their chosen good causes, including Bristol-based Billy Chip, an enterprise designed to support homeless people in the city.
Organisers will also be donating 100 percent of entrance fees to Children's Hospice Southwest, a charity caring for children with life-threatening conditions and providing support for their families.
There are various events open to participants from adult 5k and 10k races to junior 2k runs, with a toddler dash beginning in the early afternoon.
All runners will receive a medal and a goody bag when they cross the finish line, with other prizes such as a massage and a free pint on offer depending on which race you complete.
For those not running or with families, there will cake stalls, live music, face painting, a fire engine to explore and a bouncy castle to enjoy throughout the day.
