Hailing from just over the bridge in South Wales, Sounds-goers can expect Skindred’s signature brand of reggae, rock and metal when the band descend on Bristol in June. Their latest record, Smile, reached number two in the album charts, thus continuing the band’s meteoric rise from Newport to the world stage.

Now announced as joining this rocking line-up is a stellar assembly of electrifying talent that is sure to make for an unforgettable day and night of music, vibes and energy. Renowned for their anthem rock hits and irresistible live shows, Glastonbury outfit Reef will bring nothing but pure rock anthems to the occasion.

Also playing are alt-metallers Lake Malace, who have been storming the UK with their blend of dark electronics and Japanese-anime style as well as the angry and confused Cody Frost, supplying angsty dark pop vibes aplenty. Amplifying the Amphitheatre with a ferocious blend of metal, punk and hardcore will be RXPTRS.

The rock-all-dayer also boasts sets from South-East London rock musician, singer, and rapper Kid Bookie, bringing a fresh, dynamic genre-bending performance. If their latest high-energy track, ‘Hatemail’ is anything to go by then Petch are sure to get the crowd moving while turbo rock Mother Vulture will also take the city on a wild rise.
