Celebrated actor, comedian, voice actor, screenwriter and musician Fred Armisen is bringing his ‘Comedy for Musicians but Everyone is Welcome’ to the UK over the coming months.

A former post punk musician himself, world famous comedy actor Armisen has always blended his two passions, now audiences from Bristol and around the UK will have the chance to see him live in action!

Fred Armisen is a real industry favourite and multi-talented comedian and musician, perhaps best known as the co-creator of Emmy nominated sketch show Portlandia, as a long serving member of the Saturday Night Live cast and for roles in acclaimed shows including Wednesday, Parks and Recreation, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Modern Family and Barry.

 

His musical career began in the 1980s with Chicago based post punk band Trenchmouth as well as the Blue Man Group. This blossomed into comedy in 1998 with underground short film, Fred Armisen’s Guide To Music And South By Southwest. Since then, Armisen has won the Peabody award for Portlandia, with the show also gaining multiple Emmy nominations.
