Spilt Ink are a physical theatre company who create playful, joyful and fun work with and for communities and children.
Awarded Trinity’s Young Audiences Commission to develop a new piece of work for 3-10 year olds, the group have been exploring the stories of the many communities living in Lawrence Hill and Easton.
Their latest production, ‘Nest’ - set to take place at Grade II listed venue Trinity Centre – follows ‘a brave young girl who sets out on an adventure in search of her roots.’
This adventure story unfolds courtesy of three physical storytellers guiding the audience to a far away world, where the girl meets a special, feathery friend who is on his own migratory adventure.
Mixing physical theatre with puppetry and original music, ‘Nest’ asks the questions - who are we, where do we really come from and what does home really mean to us?
