Wanting to head out for New Year’s Eve but worried about the kids? Well, Crofters Rights have just the event for you.

Shrek’s New Year’s Eve will run from 4 PM until 10 PM at Crofters Gardens on Saturday 31 December.

New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and Crofters Garden are hosting a family-friendly afternoon and evening of Shrek and Donkey-themed fun at the new garden space of the ever-popular Bristol venue, Crofters Rights.

The event is free for all to attend but tickets are available on Headfirst.

The Crofters Rights team have planned a whole load of fun family activities for the event, along with a raft of wonderful food and drink for everyone to enjoy. A back-to-back showing of the Shrek films will provide entertainment for children and – let’s be honest – adults alike.

Older attendees will be able to reacquaint themselves with Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots, Lord Farquaad, Fairy Godmother and the whole crew while kids sit back and enjoy the silly fantasy caper for the very first time. There will also be Shrek-themed arts and crafts to keep the more active youngsters busy.

Crofters Garden also boasts a fine selection of pizzas from their very own ‘Ray’s Pizza’ with a menu featuring a range of mouth-watering pizzas including Margherita (v), pancetta and goat’s cheese, New York hot and much more. Head to the Crofters Rights website for a full lowdown.

Adults will also be able to choose from an extensive selection of craft beers, delicious cocktails, festive mulled wine and cider as well as nice warming hot chocolate. A beer list can be found online.

This event runs from 4 PM until 10 PM and is open to all. Grab your free ticket here.

For those looking to dance in the new year, look no further than ‘The Crofters Rights NYE’ with two rooms of UK garage, house, D n B, jungle and techno from Exodus Records, Omen Audio, Psyched, Represent Asian and Twin System Records. Find out more here.
