Wonderland at Bristol Hippodrome from 8 to 13 May 2017
Wendi Peters, a popular TV and West End star, famous for her much acclaimed role of Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street, is all set to come to Bristol Hippodrome from 8 to 13 May 2017 for Wonderland.
She will be the Queen of Hearts for this UK Tour and will join Dave Willets, who is a musical theatre favourite for his White Rabbit role in tours of South Pacific, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and 42nd Street.
We also have Kerry Ellis who shall be starring as Alice (guest star). She is also a West End and Broadway leading lady, and is famous for her role of Elphaba in the West End and Broadway productions of Wicked.
Frank Wildhorn’s Wonderland has been nominated for many Grammy and Drama Desk Awards and is now presenting the UK and European premiere with this latest British production, which comes after sold out seasons in Tampa, Texas and Tokyo. The enthralling musical adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, it has been praised as “inspirational” by New York Times. Promising to be an evening full of wonder and magic!
Wendi Peters and Dave Willetts are scheduled to perform at all performances.Kerry Ellis is scheduled to perform at all evening performances in this venue. She will not be performing the role of ‘Alice’ at matinee performances. The appearance of any particular performer cannot be guaranteed.
