With both the announcement of her new album ‘Liberman’ which will be available on 29th April through Dine Alone Records/Caroline International, and the exciting new, Steve Osborne remix of her standalone single ‘Nothing Where Something Used To Be’ which is out now, will surely have Bristol fans flocking to Vanessa’s first UK and European tour in twelve years!
‘Nothing Where Something Used To Be’ is an elated track that builds to a vibrant chorus and perfectly showcases Vanessa’s euphonious vocals, and will definitely get you scrambling for tickets to this not to miss Bristol gig. It is accompanied by a mesmerising video featuring Vanessa herself, which can be seen on YouTube.
Vanessa says; “This is an interesting remix situation cause this version of the song was actually the first version. Steve and I experimented a lot while we were exploring the palette of what Liberman should be. We looked at this as an experiment and when we moved on to the next chunk of songs this version didn't fit on the album. I was doing my dance workout one day a couple months ago and this version of the song was way deep on a playlist and popped up. I really loved it but had forgotten about this attempt. I sent the song to my manager and he was like we gotta release this! So here we are.”
Along with the remix of ‘Nothing Where Something Used To Be’, Liberman is introduced by a live video of album track ‘Matter Of Time’, which was filmed in her second home of Nashville.
