Prospero was once powerful and respected but now after being overthrown by Antonio, he is stranded on ‘The Island’ which is a migrant camp in the year 2020. But opportunity to get justice knocks Prospero’s door as a passing ship of politicians and dignitaries of which Antonio is also a member, ventures close to the island. To avail this opportunity, Antonio summons a fearsome tempest.

Political corruption and mass migration lay down the background of this show with Shakespeare’s original scenes interspersed with verbatim journalism and outstanding digital projections.Untold theatre and Yellowbelly theatre have come up in collaboration for this production to commemorate the 400th death anniversary of Shakespeare. Also to support the cause of doctors without borders, there will be collections at the end of each performance.
