Republica live in Bristol

Britpop trailblazers Republica are marking 30 years since their self-titled debut and global mega-hit Ready To Go with a major UK headline tour this autumn, including the finale show at Bristol Thekla on Sunday 29 November 2026. Tickets are £34.60 including booking fees.

Across October and November 2026, the band will bring their signature techno-pop, punk rock and electronica sound back to stages nationwide. Fronted by Saffron, their enduring hits continue to resonate with a new generation, with Republica's music featuring in more than 500 film, TV and cultural syncs.

The anniversary celebrations also coincide with the release of a 30th Anniversary Special Edition of their self-titled debut album on 9 October, featuring the original album alongside the rare 1997 A Day At The Races live recording.

Republica emerged at a fascinating point in British music. Britpop might have dominated the headlines, but Republica occupied their own corner of the musical landscape, combining guitars with electronic production and club culture. Their sound sat comfortably alongside rock, indie and dance without ever fitting neatly into any one of them.

Thirty years later, those songs have proved remarkably durable.

Ready To Go alone has accumulated tens of millions of streams, while Republica's music has continued to appear across film, television and advertising. Recent uses of the band's catalogue have included Captain Marvel, Ted Lasso and Yellowjackets, helping introduce their music to listeners who weren't around for its original mid-90s explosion.

The anniversary celebrations will also see Republica revisit the album that started it all.

A special 30th anniversary edition of the band's self-titled debut album is due for release on 9 October 2026. The double-vinyl edition combines the original album with the rare A Day At The Races live recording, captured at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in August 1997.

But Republica's music has always made most sense at full volume, and the anniversary is being celebrated with an extensive run of live dates.
