Mike Hunt & Erica Nockalls with Gaz Brookfield will be there on Thursday 20 October 2016 at The Thunderbolt in Bristol.
Wonder Stuff, he is an Indie music icon and a influential person in his field. Nowadays he is trying his own musical path with Erica Nockles rocking fest and he is touring continuously with a extraordinary hybrid of two musicians who are playing off one another and all interspersed with Miles trademark banter.
The Wonder Stuff has its year in 2007; Miles and Erica Nockalls are trying to have their debut album together “Not an Exit”. The event which was started for 10 tours has now been converted into 18 months tour, which means only a little number of Wonder Stuff shows. In 2009 they both are back to record the follow up album “Catching More Than We Mis”, this music peace was taken as best work in his 21 years. the duo again hit the streets of UK, USA, Europe, and Japan before finally releasing ‘Miles & Erica Live’ in May 2011. The tours continued around the globe, with The Wonder Stuff and not less than 150 shows in 2012.
In 2013, the dedication of the new band album “Oh No It’..The Wonder Stuff”, the release of “Imminent Room” of Erica and the first book appearance of Miles. In 2014 & 2015, the couple came to the road with a retaliation playing more than 200 shows over the country and along with this was the book promoting show which was done by Miles for promoting his first book the series “The Wonder Stuff Diaries ’86 to ’89. If you have not read it then go and get it..! The book takes you to the history of The Wonder Stuff and their early years. It is drawn from Hunt’s own personal diaries, which tells of the rise and fall of the band
And finally 2016 will witness the 30th anniversary of The Wonder Stuff and a new album name “30 Goes Around The Sun”, and not only this a tour show in Japan also. For promoting their album Miles & Erica will be playing some songs. Make sure you come at Thunderbolt on Thursday Oct 20th.
Gaz Brookfield
Since winning Acoustic magazine's 2010 Singer Songwriter of the year, he has spent his time on the road, touring the UK and Europe. In this time he has shared the stage with the likes of The Levellers, Frank Turner,New Model Army, Nick Harper, Newton Faulkner, Miles Hunt, Seth Lakeman and many more, racking up over 1000 gigs to date.
Gaz Brookfield: has won Acoustic magazine singer in 2010, and he has spent all his time on the road while touring UK and Europe. He shared the stage with The Levellers, New Model Army, Frank Turner, Nick Harper, Miles Hunt, Seth Lakeman, and many more, having more than 1000 gigs till now.
He is the only unsigned artist who has sell out The Fleece, at Bristol. An achievement he has achieved 4 times, and the last two shows were sold out 6 months in advance.
He often plays 200 gigs a year, his never tiring schedule makes his tour the world, last time he played at 100 UK festivals, which includes Glastonbury, Bearded Theory, Beautiful Days and much more and made him the favourite for lifetime.
True and Fast is his latest and is in the market, available on CD or digitally on Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon and other outlets. His previous albums, Tell It To The Beer, In the Company of Thieves, and Trial & Error are also available digitally via same outlets, and number of full band live albums are there from Bandcamp.
