Rock and pop
Rocking the stage at Colston Hall we have Mark Kozelek (Sun Kil Moon) and Justin Broadrick who shall be performing in Bristol on Friday 16 September 2016.
Justin Broadrick is working as Jesu but he is mostly known for being the co-founder of Godflesh band (industrial metal). Their collaboration is highly praised by the audience and according to Pitchfork: “Kozelek hasn’t necessarily ‘gone metal’ here, but he’s definitely using his voice in different ways – he yells, he howls, he screams”. Consequence of Sound describes it as a “record driven by love. Mark doesn’t just deliver the good, the bad and the ugly. He throws in the mundane, the uncomfortable, the tedious and the minuscule”.
