KNEECAP at SWX Bristol
KNEECAP will perform at SWX Bristol on Wednesday 20th November 2024.
Irish rap crew, KNEECAP, have announced the release their debut album, ‘Fine Art’ on June 14th and a Bristol headline this November. The release includes new single, ’Sick In The Head’ and ‘Better Way To Live’ ft. Grian Chatten (Fontaines DC).
The group are at the forefront of Irish hip-hop, rapping in both Irish and English and with sell out shows across Ireland, the US, England and more. In 2024, they made their s/t movie debut, premiered at Sundance, to critical acclaim. The movie stars the trio, Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvai, alongside Michael Fassbender, Simone Kirby and Josie Walker.
From a first single banned on Irish radio to riling up unionist politicians with their ‘Brits Out’ slogan, Kneecap are as unapologetically brash as they are republican. Known for singles ‘Get Your Brits Out’, ‘H.O.O.D. (both 2019) and their 2017 ‘3cag’ EP, Kneecap have quickly built an exciting and controversial presence in the rap community and beyond.
They have shared stages with the likes of Dropkick Murphy’s and Shame as well as at festivals incl. Reading & Leeds main stage, 2000 Trees and Electric Picnic. Now we can’t wait to welcome them back to the stage in Bristol for their first show here since their packed 2021 headline.
