James Acaster

James Acaster began performing stand-up comedy in 2008, after the bands he played drums for in Northamptonshire  broke up, and  he “decided to do comedy before deciding what he really wanted to do”. A year or so later he appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe with Josh Widdecombe and Nick Helm, before supporting the likes of Josie Long and Milton Jones on tour.

Since then, Acaster has twice been nominated  for Best Comedy Show at the Foster’s Comedy Awards, and Best International Show at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. He’s appeared on our screens on Nevermind the Buzzcocks, Russell Howard’s Good News, Dave’s One Night Stand, Live at the Comedy Store and Chris Addison’s Show and Tell. He has his own Radio 4 series James Acaster’s Findings and regularly features on The Josh Widdicombe Show on XFM.

 

Gary Delaney

Gary Delaney’s razor-sharp one-liners leaves his audiences struggling to remember them all and gagging for more. He’s a regular on Mock The Week and has also appeared on Dave’s’One Night Stand, Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store and Comedy Blue, and on Channel 4’s Robert’s Web. He has also been on Radio 4’s Loose Ends, Radio 5’s 7 Day Saturday and Radio 2’s Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour.

Gary has written for many TV programmes including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, 10 O’Clock Live, A League of Their Own and Stand Up for the Week. Gary received two Sonys for his work for Kerrang! Radio. Even his Twitter feed was also nominated for a Chortle Award. Gary’s debut show ‘Purist’ was a hit at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010, selling out every night and receiving many four and five star reviews. In 2013 he returned to the Edinburgh Festival with his second show ‘Gary Delaney 2: This Time It Isn’t Personal’.

 

Abandoman

Abandoman are currently on tour, presenting their innovative mixtape mashups and futuristic jams live on stage, using the history of hip-hop as their blueprint and their audience as their inspiration. From Kanye to Jay Z, from country to funk, their set will contain musical, lyrical and comical scenes of a seriously awesome nature. They supported Ed Sheeran on his sell out tour, and have been seen on Alan Carr’s Happy Hour, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge, Sky Arts Latitude coverage and BBC Three’s Live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

 

Ed Gamble

Ed Gamble is a British stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He is best known for co-presenting The Peacock and Gamble Podcast, and for playing a central role in US cult hit Almost Royal. He won a Chortle Award in 2014, and has supported Greg Davies. Russell Kane and Chris Addison as well as multiple appearances on TV shows such as Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News and Drunk History.
