Since 1996, Joe Satriani’s electrifying G3 tours have brought the planet’s greatest guitarists to stages across the world. The world-renowned guitar virtuoso returns with another stellar line-up, featuring Dream Theater’s John Petrucci and former Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth. This night of pure guitar heaven will feature sets by each artist, followed by a massive jam at the end of the show.
Multi Grammy Award Nominee Joe Satriani is one of the most widely respected rock guitarists of the last thirty years. A former lead guitarist for the likes of Mick Jagger and Deep Purple, Satriani has become an artist in his own right with his highly technical style, packing out concert halls across the globe. In his early career, Satriani was a guitar instructor, tutoring the likes of Steve Vai, Larry LaLonde, Ricky Hunolt, and others.
John Peter Petrucci is an American guitarist, composer and producer. He is best known as a founding member of the progressive metal band Dream Theater. With his former bandmate Mike Portnoy, he has produced all Dream Theater albums from 1999’s Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory to 2009’s Black Clouds & Silver Linings, and has been the sole producer of the band’s albums released since Portnoy’s departure in 2010.
Uli Jon Roth is a German guitarist, who became famous as the Scorpions lead guitarist, and is one of the earliest contributors to the neoclassical metal genre. He is also the founder of Sky Academy and inventor of the Sky Guitar.
