Bristol and the UK's best 50s vintage fair!

Break out the Christmas list and get your vintage glad rags on as the Mid Century Market returns to the Trinity Centre in Bristol on Sunday 20th November 2016. Bristol’s only 1950s fair, prepare for a day packed with glitz, glamour and all things kitsch.

Expect the sparkle of costume jewellery as it glitters in the winter light, ornate homeware sitting nestled between vintage dresses and retro inspired illustrations; all illuminated by the warm smiles of happy shoppers. Now making its fourth trip to Bristol thanks to the success of the April, July and September events, Bettina Scarlett brings this hugely popular day back to the Westcountry for us all to enjoy.

The 50s return to Bristol in the form of the Mid Century Market

With shoppers in the past coming from all over Europe to hunt for bargains, Bristol is in for a treat in November. What makes the market distinctive from any other vintage fairs within the UK is the friendly and sociable atmosphere it brings. Not in a rush? Why not sit back and relax with friends and enjoy the atmosphere and listen to DJs hark back to that era of rockabilly and good ole rock n roll.

It's more than just a fair, it's a gathering of like-minded people who enjoy the social aspects of the day as much as the items on offer and far more besides. Why not get your hair styled by the resident vintage hair stylist the Vanity Box who has over 10 years experience and will know how to get you looking like the pin up you always wanted to be.

Doors open from 11am - 4pm, entry is £2.00 with under 12's going free. For further information please visit www.midcenturymarket.co.uk and give them a follow on their Facebook page and Twitter page. This event is being held at the Trinity Centre, Trinity Road, Bristol, BS2 0NW.
