Break Stuff Pantera Special at the Fleece in Bristol
Break Stuff returns to Bristol on Friday 1st December in recognition of one of metals most influential bands. We take a 'Walk' with those 'Cowboys From Hell' as we play through Texas's most controversial and coveted band. PANTERA.
Cited by many on the current Break Stuff playlist as the reason they got into music, Pantera are and always will be one of the goliath's of the game. Formed 1981, the band have sold close to 10 million records worldwide, their unique brand of glam, thrash and groove paving the way for the metal artists that followed them.
The night will celebrate 25 years of one of the bands most defining releases 'Vulgar Display Of Power' playing the album in it's entirety from 11pm. Then, the night will continue as we smash out the bands biggest anthems with Break Stuff's own brand of chaos and mayhem providing backdrop to a band that has become one the cornerstones of the night! Were expecting some big circle pits people!
During the event we will also be showing both their 1991 & 1992 Monsters Of Rock performances as well as the bands 2001 'Killing In Korea' show on the big screen!
This is an ode to one of the bands that paved way for many that followed during the late 90's / early 2000's. We are not claiming that Pantera are in any way a Nu Metal band... We are just as precious about Pantera as you are!
