Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby runs at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 24 to Saturday 28 September 2024.
This outrageous, dynamic and daring dance production took the world by storm when it debuted last year. Written and directed by series creator Steven Knight, the show has been seen by over 100,000 people and introduced many Peaky fans to the world of dance – make sure you’re next!

Opening in the Flanders trenches, a tale unfolds in post-war Birmingham as the Shelby family navigate difficult decisions and Tommy is intoxicated by a mysterious newcomer, Grace. As Tommy builds his empire, Grace is operating as an undercover agent on a mission to infiltrate the gang. As the story unfolds of broken hearts, and revenge is sought.
This thrilling stage adaptation perfectly captures the Peaky story, using stunning dancers from Rambert and an iconic soundtrack from a live band, including iconic tracks from the show’s soundtrack by The Bad Seeds, Radiohead, Anna Calvi, The Last Shadow Puppets, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
From screen to stage and back to screen, the return of the show follows the success of Peaky Blinders Rambert's Redemption of Thomas Shelby being aired as part of the BBC’s Christmas programme. Speaking about the production, Peaky Blinders writer and creator Steven Knight (who also wrote and adapted the stage show) has said:
