Dara Ó Briain will drop by The Bristol Hippodrome on Tuesday 7 October 2025.
Dara’s ‘So, Where Were We?’ tour won the Chortle UK Comedy Tour of the Year 2023 award and now one of Ireland’s finest live comedians is back doing his favourite thing: standing in a theatre, telling stories and creating chaos with the audience. It’s guaranteed to be a very funny (and popular) night!

A true household name in both the UK and his native Ireland, Dara Ó Briain is an award-winning stand-up comedian, television presenter, author and speaker. Hailing from Bray, County Wicklow, he got his first taste of show business as a TV presenter at RTÉ, before graduating to various comedy panel shows.
It was then that Ó Briain’s stand-up career truly began to blow up with a slew of sell-out worldwide tours, performing the biggest-selling Edinburgh Fringe show of the 2005 festival. Despite a long and decorated career on TV, Ó Briain has remained a staple of the comedy circuit, performing sell-out tours the world over.
Ó Briain is best known for hosting such iconic TV shows as Mock The Week, Blockbusters, Robot Wars, Stargazing Live, Dara and Ed’s Great Big Adventure (with fellow comedian Ed Byrne), The Apprentice: You’re Fired!, Dara Ó Briain’s Go 8Bit and much more.
In addition to Bristol, 2025 will see Dara Ó Briain appear at theatres in Cheltenham, Ipswich, York, Birmingham, Nottingham, Southampton, Leeds, Glasgow, Yeovil, Exeter, Hull, Belfast, Swansea, Cardiff, Aberdeen, Leicester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester, Brighton, London, Edinburgh and more.
