A Wales Rugby Union legend is coming to Clifton for a special evening

Aitch & Aitch Bee Events Limited have announced their latest evening with an iconic name from the world of rugby, Shane Williams MBE.

 

‘An Evening With Shane Williams MBE’ hits Bristol’s The Redgrave Theatre on Tuesday 15 October 2024.

 

Williams will be bringing a wealth of stories to the table, offering eye-opening insights into a glittering career at the pinnacle of his sport in what is sure to be an evening to remember. Audience members will be able to witness an on-stage chat with Shane, followed by the opportunity to get involved in a Q&A session.

Shane Williams MBE is widely considered to be one of the most talented wingers ever to play Rugby Union, taking to the pitch a staggering 87 times for the Wales national team and becoming their record try scorer in addition to a further four times for The Lions.

 

As part of a decorated career, Williams was voted World Player of the Year back in 2008. Since retiring in 2015, he has built a stellar reputation as a pundit and businessman and stayed fit by completing various Iron Man challenges as well as recently becoming Head of Rugby Academy at his alma mater, Ysgol Dyffryn Aman.

 

Warming up the main event will be an appearance from the brilliant Stewart Wright, who will wow the audience with his iconic ‘Voices of Rugby’, taking you on a journey through many of rugby’s most memorable moments, with a little help from some extra special guests.
