Posted on: 30 May 2023

June begins tomorrow and that means that one of Bristol’s most eagerly anticipated events of the year – Bristol Sounds – is just around the corner.

MIKA will appear at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre for Bristol Sounds on Wednesday 21 June 2023.

Joining the ‘Grace Kelly’ megastar on Bristol’s picturesque harbourside in June will be former Britain’s Got Talent contestant Calum Scott who is fresh off the back of performing with Take That at King Charles’ Coronation Concert.

Taking over Lloyds Amphitheatre at the iconic Bristol Harbourside for a next-level opening evening of music, and supporting global superstar Miki, is British singer/songwriter Calum Scott.

The X-Factor star will serenade the city with his impressive roster of classics featuring his platinum-selling smash ‘You Are The Reason’, a single that earned him a top 25 finish on Spotify’s US Viral 50 and hit the top 10 on the iTunes single charts in 38 countries.

Attendees are warned to give their vocal chords a rest in advance to prepare themselves for Scott’s 3 times platinum-certified cover of Robyn’s legendary anthem ‘Dancing On My Own’, a version that earned him a Brit Award nomination in the category of Best British Single.

Scott will open for the festival’s iconic first headliner Mika, who is best known for hits including ‘Grace Kelly’, ‘Relax, Take It Easy’, ‘Big Girl (You Are Beautiful’, ‘Happy Ending’ and ‘Lollipop’. The artist’s unique ability to craft vibrant, extravagant pop has seen the artist journey from outsider artist to chart-topping superstar.

The other Bristol Sounds headliners are multi-instrumentalist YouTube sensation Jacob Collier, legendary rock band James, folk-rock favourites Levellers (with support from The Selector, Black Grape, Peat & Diesel, Goldie Lookin Chains and more) and unapologetic pop star Self Esteem (with support from Anna Calvi, Lynks and Divorce).

MIKA and Calum Scott will play Canons Marsh Amphitheatre as part of Bristol Sounds on Wednesday 21 June 2023. Tickets can be found HERE.
