Headlining the festival on Friday 28 July is an award-winning, hit-making extraordinaire Sean Paul, ready to bring the ultimate party set to the people of Bristol this summer. Siren have also announced special guests Roni Size and Dynamite MC as special guest for Thursday night.

Over a 20-plus year-long career of music-making, Paul has earned a plethora of Grammy and Billboard Music award nominations as well as being the recipient of an American Music award, MOBO award, Soul Train award and more. In 2006, he was also made the only Jamaican artist to have won an American Music award for Favourite Pop/Rock Male Artist.

No stranger to collaboration, Sean Paul has achieved numerous Hot 100 Number One singles with other top artists such as Beyonce (‘Baby Boy’) and Sia (‘Cheap Thrills’) over the years. He has also embraced this idea in his more recent projects: 2018’s Mad Love: The Prequal saw features from the likes of Stefflon Don, Migos, Dua Lipa and Becky G.

Kicking off the festival on Thursday, alongside headliners Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra, are freshly announced South-West legends in the shape of Bristol’s very own Mercury Prize winner DJ Roni Size and his long-term collaborator Dynamite MC plus David Rodigan and local MC Gardna.

Festival goers should also prepare themselves for some of the local DnB scene’s very best with second stages hosted by legendary Bristol mainstays Intrigue and Invicta Audio on Thursday and Saturday respectively.

Speaking about the announcement of Sean Paul, Tom Hoyle (Siren’s co-founder): “Sean Paul is an international superstar and one of the biggest names in dancehall music so having him on the Siren stage this summer is an incredible honour.

“He’s an act whose output over the last 20 years has connected with so many different audiences and we’re really excited to be bringing him to Bristol for the first time in over 12 years!”

With all these amazing acts on show, Siren Festival is shaping up to be a must-see event for any dance music fan. The festival runs from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 July 2023. Sign up for pre-order tickets HERE.
