Rebecca Black found almost overnight success in 2011 when she released, at just 14, the viral smash hit ‘Friday’ and a slew of other successes. The single’s pop promo soon went viral, becoming the top video for that year with 29 million views and propelling Black to international acclaim

Despite the success of ‘Friday’ it was dubbed by critics as “the worst song ever” but received pop culture sensation status, Black appeared in a Katy Perry music video and the song featured on the popular jukebox television show Glee.

Half a decade later, still in her teens, Black returned to the public eye once more and hasn’t looked back. With a more mature electro-pop style that leans more towards the style of Charli XCX and Kim Petras, Black is an artist reborn.

In 2022, the RIAA Gold-selling singer-songwriter and queer creator sold her debut headline US tour. Black also brought her ‘Rebecca Black Is Here’ tour to the UK and Europe as well as an acclaimed appearance at Coachella.

Black’s current tour of the UK is in support of her upcoming debut album, Let Her Burn (album cover picture below) – set to be released today.

Rebecca Black’s show at Thekla in Bristol on Saturday 11 February is currently sold out, however, a limited amount of resale tickets can be purchased HERE.
