Adapted for the stage by much-loved local Bristol theatre company The Wardrobe Ensemble, Mog The Forgetful Cat is a musical half-term treat for all the family.

Mog The Forgetful Cat runs at Bristol Old Vic from Tuesday 14 until Saturday 18 February.

Mog is a very forgetful kitty: she forgets that she has a cat flap, she forgets that she’s already eaten her supper and she forgets that cats shouldn’t have eggs for breakfast every day. Bother that cat! But Mog’s forgetfulness can sometimes come in handy.

Tickets for the show can be found HERE.

Theatre lovers of all ages will be able to observe Mog and the Thomas family through one year in the life of a truly remarkable cat. Watch her catch a burglar, gatecrashes a cat show, go to the vet, and get to eat lots and lots of eggs. Mog may be forgetful, but she loves her family very much - and certainly has a lot of adventures!

This Wardrobe Ensemble production is based on the bestselling Mog picture book series by Judith Kerr. The beloved series is now 20 works long, with the first Mog the Forgetful Cat published over 50 years ago in 1970.

A fixture of Bristol’s theatrical scene, The Wardrobe Ensemble’s adaptation of Mog The Forgetful Cat sees them bring Judith Kerr’s sparkling creation to life in a lively and enchanting production directed by Jesse Jones and Helena Middleton.

Attendees can expect songs, live music and a menagerie of creatures great and small! The transportation of these timeless tales of family and friendship from page to stage is sure to help a whole new generation of children to fall in love with Mog.

Mog The Forgetful Cat runs at Bristol Old Vic from Tuesday 14 until Saturday 18 February. Tickets are available for £13 for children and £15 for adults. Grab yours HERE.
