Boiler Room HQ had originally scheduled an all-day, open-air Bristol party for Saturday 29 April but the first show has already sold out.

So, in all their wisdom, Boiler Room have announced a second massive event for Sunday 30 April.

Set to be the esteemed dance music operation's biggest South West shows to date, electronic music fans from all over Bristol and beyond can expect nothing but the highest quality DJs and beatmakers when Boiler Room come to town in the Spring.

Tickets for the second date go on sale on Thursday 19 January at 10 AM, sign up to the Boiler Room mailing list for more information.

Boiler Room last headed to Bristol in the autumn, taking over BS2 warehouse venue Propyard for two sell out dates in October. Over these two days, the team welcomed elusive techno mastermind Skin On Skin, Afro-house DJ KILIMANJARO, London based Surusinghe, Bristol’s very own A For Alpha and many more to the city.

The club culture chiefs have had a long relationship with Bristol, indeed the city’s vibrant electronic music community was the topic of a 2019 YouTube documentary entitled ‘Keep Bristol Weird’ (see below).

Focusing on the alternative side of Bristol music, the spotlight featured a broad selection of artists including Idle Hands supremo Chris Farrell, the Young Echo team, Bad Traking, Giant Swan, Batu, E B U, Ossia, Franco Franco and Kinlaw.

Boiler Room began in 2010 with a webcam taped to the wall of London’s underground venues, documenting the city’s amazing electronic scene. Since then, they have built a distinctive archive spanning more than 8,000 performances by over 5,000 artists across 200 cities.

To this day, the team remain true to these humble beginnings, supporting grassroots artists and telling stories from the fringes of dance music as well as connecting dance floors around the world with their busy programme of shows.
