Posted on: 19 Dec 2022

We’re counting down the days to Christmas now and, to celebrate this festive countdown, St George’s Bristol have arranged a very special celebratory show.

St George’s Bristol’s ‘Festive Fiesta’ will take place from 7:30 PM on Tuesday 20 December.

Those attending tomorrow’s event at the beautiful Georgian church can expect all their favourite Christmas carols wrapped up in one sparkling festive concert. Tickets are running very low for this one so grab yours while you can!

Tickets can be found on the St George’s website.

Tomorrow (Tuesday 20 December) will see a festive concert celebrating the most wonderful time of the year hosted at St George’s Bristol. There will be plenty of audience participation in this sparkling festive concert featuring carols aplenty as well as Christmas choral works and orchestral pieces.

With the City of Bristol Choir and Bristol Ensemble both performing under the baton of conductor David Ogden, this night of festive fun is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas mood. Audience satisfaction is high with one member saying:

“The Festive Fiesta contained everything you could possibly want from a Christmas concert. There was some moving, serious music and some great fun songs with a good amount of sing-along opportunities. The Bristol Ensemble were fabulously festive too. This really marked the beginning of Christmas for me.”

St George’s Bristol boasts a 580-seat concert hall that has been converted from a 200-year-old Georgian church, a beautifully sounding space that regularly welcomes musicians and comedians from around the world.

The venue’s 2023 programme already looks to be something truly special with singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin playing on 12 January, ex-Men At Work star Colin Hay on 7 February, comedian Harry Hill on 18 February and experimental titan Richard Dawson on 4 May.

St George’s Bristol’s ‘Festive Fiesta’ will take place tomorrow (Tuesday 20 December) at 7:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased here.
