After yet another vastly successful run last month, with more than 15,000 people taking part, the Great Bristol Run have announced the event’s return in May next year.

The Great Bristol Run will take place on Sunday 14 May 2023 with a 10k and a half marathon to choose between.

Entry applications for 2023 have just opened, with the 10k run open to all those over the age of 15 and the half marathon open to those over 17. Bristolians have until Tuesday 1 November to get 20% off entry.

Early Bird passes can be purchased here with the 10k available for £29 and the half marathon for £37.

The Great Bristol Run is a unique way to explore the city of Bristol as the carefully curated routes allow runners to soak up the atmosphere with cheering crowds, music and entertainment zones right all the way along the routes with a 10k, a half marathon and a family event on offer.

Some of the stunning settings featured on the 10k include a loop around the beautiful Queen Square, the historic Old City and Castle Park. The half marathon takes runners along Bristol’s vibrant waterfront and under Brunel’s celebrated Suspension Bridge before joining the 10k at Spike Island.

Whether you are fundraising for charity or running for fun, there is plenty to keep you stimulated as you push yourself physically. Runners will be greeted by a huge round of applause at the finish line as well as receiving a special edition medal, a t-shirt and a finisher’s bag filled with goodies.

Following a triumphant event this year, organisers have announced that both the 10k and the half marathon will take place on Sunday 14 May 2023.

Thousands of runners will take to the Bristol streets once again so - whether it’s for fun, for a challenge, or for a cause close to your heart - sign up for the Great Bristol Run 2023 today to get 20% off.
